They&#8217;re easy to prepare and practically foolproof. Plus, they taste delicious cold too.<\/p>\n<p>You can also make them from whatever mince you prefer &#8211; turkey, lamb, pork, beef &#8211; it all works just as well. Don&#8217;t forget to buy\u00a0grass fed animals where possible for optimal quality. Add turmeric, cumin and other spices too for a totally different taste.<\/p>\n<h5>Ingredients<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>250g minced meat (we used pork)<\/li>\n<li>3 eggs*<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of mixed herbs<\/li>\n<li>Salt and pepper to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Method<\/h5>\n<ol>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-654\" src=\"https:\/\/healthylivinglondon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Healthy_EggBurger_02-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"double protein egg burger\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/healthylivinglondon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Healthy_EggBurger_02-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/healthylivinglondon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/Healthy_EggBurger_02.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Preheat the oven to 170&#8217;C.<\/li>\n<li>In a bowl add the herbs to the minced meat. Squish all the mince so that it merges together like paste.<\/li>\n<li>Divide the mince in half and make into a patty. If you have a round cutter, place it in the middle and remove the inner circle. If you don&#8217;t have a cutter, a small cup works just as well.<\/li>\n<li>Add the cut out mince back to the bowl and repeat.<\/li>\n<li>For the last pattie, add the meat from the middle to the edges.<\/li>\n<li>Place each hollowed out burger onto a foil-lined tray. Crack an egg into each.<\/li>\n<li>Put the tray into the oven and cook for 20 minutes until the eggs cook &#8216;white&#8217; through.<\/li>\n<li>Eat immediately or keep as a snack for hungry times.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>*We used British Lion eggs for top quality.
