And doesn&#8217;t colourful AND healthy food make you even happier? We&#8217;ve managed to incorporate a whole bunch of colours into this raw salad for ultimate goodness. And if you&#8217;re not a salad person, this isn&#8217;t a normal green salad, this packs a punch! It&#8217;s filling and fresh and makes you feel GREAAAAT.<\/h5>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1164\" src=\"https:\/\/healthylivinglondon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Raw_CabbageSalad.jpg\" alt=\"Super Raw Salad\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/healthylivinglondon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Raw_CabbageSalad.jpg 640w, https:\/\/healthylivinglondon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Raw_CabbageSalad-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Inspired by Simply Health and their <a title=\"Simply Health guide to best foods to eat for a brighter smile\" href=\"https:\/\/www.simplyhealth.co.uk\/sh\/pages\/healthy-you\/dental\/healthysmiles\" target=\"_blank\">guide to the best foods to eat for a healthier smile<\/a> we stuffed this salad full of purple cabbage which is rammed with vitamin C and vitamin A. Vitamin C helps prevent gum disease and vitamin A is essential for developing and maintaining healthy teeth. You can also lose vitamins if you cook it too much which is why we&#8217;ve got ours in our salad in its\u00a0pure, unadulterated form!<\/p>\n<p>For this recipe, you can either use a mandolin or a sharp knife. If you&#8217;re using a mandolin, make sure you&#8217;re careful! It&#8217;s hard to spot bits of finger in amongst the salad&#8230;<\/p>\n<h5>Ingredients<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>1\/2 purple cabbage<\/li>\n<li>1 courgette<\/li>\n<li>4 radishes<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 pomegranate<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp seeds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Method<\/h5>\n<ol>\n<li>Thinly slice the cabbage and radishes. If you have a mandolin, use it but be careful! If not, a sharp knife will work but again, watch out for fingers.<\/li>\n<li>If you have a spiraliser, use that on the courgette. if you don&#8217;t, that&#8217;s not a problem &#8211; you can just as easily grate it, or chop it finely.<\/li>\n<li>Put everything you&#8217;ve chopped so far into a salad bowl.<\/li>\n<li>De-seed the pomegranate and add to the salad with the seeds.<\/li>\n<li>Mix everything well.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>This is best served with our <a title=\"Deliciously Creamy Avocado Salad Dressing\" href=\"https:\/\/healthylivinglondon.com\/nutrition-and-food-for-healthy-living-in-london\/deliciously-creamy-avocado-salad-dressing\/\" target=\"_blank\">raw avocado sauce<\/a>.
